Eat and Drink: Pancake Corner
Posted by Amy Bensema | Aug 25, 2016
Providing an array of sweet treats and a few savoury dishes, Pancake Corner is a quaint little shop with two locations in Phuket. The original branch resides on Phuket Road, while the newer shop is located in the Limelight Avenue complex. Popular with young Thais, Pancake Corner is worth a visit to satisfy your sweet tooth when in town.
Pancake Corner serves up some delicious pancakes with all of the fresh fruit toppings one could ask for, and also has varieties featuring chocolate, caramel sauce and whipped cream. The establishment's most favourite dessert is their elaborate 'bingsu' which comes in a variety of flavours. A popular dessert in Korea, 'bingsu' is a flavourful treat featuring shaved ice, flavoured syrups, candies and ice cream.
The coffee at Pancake Corner is good and the staff are friendly. The original location is small, but provides a cozy atmosphere for dessert dining. If you are looking to try a local cafe popular with young Thais, Pancake Corner is definitely the place.
